We are particularly proud of the Stadthalle’s lighting concept. From daylight simulation to festive gala ambience, from captivating lightshow to calming illumination – tailored to suit your particular requirements. Our highlight: using LED technology, the marble cube in the foyer can be transformed into a special element of your customised lighting concept or into a media artwork. As light is more than just light, our LED lighting system not only provides the highest quality of illumination in every room but it is exceptionally energy-efficient as well. It goes without saying that our rooms veritably radiate your corporate design — whether you use the Stadthalle in its entirety or a single hall. Thanks to the smart networking, this functions not only with light but, coupled with our digital signage system, with logos, texts , images, and communication as well.

The Stadthalle provides ample space for many formats: conventions, meeting, workshops, exhibitions, and concerts. The bright and modern rooms create an inspiring atmosphere of well-being. The proximity to Karlsruhe’s city centre and its places of interest gives you the means to round off a great day. But even the most beautiful rooms are nothing without people. Karlsruhe is the first and so far only city in Germany to have been awarded the title “Creative City of Media Arts” by UNESCO, making it a member of the “UNESCO Creative Cities Network” at the same time. We regard this as not merely an award but as a commitment. Our Stadthalle’s media system is tailor-made and caters for all needs. This includes the modern essentials such as WLAN, projection facilities, an outstanding public-address system, and digital-signage system that can be quickly customised to reflect your designs and fulfil your specific requirements. We can use special features, such as the LED domes in the Weinbrennersaal on the ground floor, for artistic purposes as well.

Our historical façade conceals state-of-the-art technology, which, for us, also translates into sustainable and energy-saving systems. The Stadthalle is cooled by groundwater and heated by district heating. We generate our own electricity with a photovoltaic power plant and, using energy-efficient technology — for ventilation, for example —, we actively engage with you to minimise our CO₂ footprint and create a place that gives us a sense of well-being where you, rest assured, will feel at home too.

The individual design of each room rounds off our new favourite place to be. Look forward to a light and airy ceiling structure with integrated LED technology for illumination of a special kind in the Brahmssaal. Illuminated domes made specially for the Weinbrennersaal accentuate its architecture and render it unique. Bright foyers and our impressive pillared portico provides a prestigious and attractive reception.
